Yeah thanks tunnelrush, just about to do that. Well Soul, she wanted to finish it because she thought she was "holding me back" and she wasnt at all and also she is going to uni in a year...I was like yeah a year. I feel like a total pussy to be honest as I was sick. Im so confused and the worse thing is, she still stayed round and slept in the same bedroom.
I really dont know what to think

I know someone that was in relationship with this guy since her Sophomore(2nd) year of high school and he broke up with her when they were in their first year of college. You can imagine how much that sucked!? But she's fine now. She's dating this guy who's also in Medical school. So that's good...Yup.

I don't mean to be a straight up bitch about the situation, but her saying that she's holding you back, sounds like that's what she's feeling about you. She's just voicing her opinion in a shadier light, y'know?
She's still hanging around because the devil you know is better than the devil you don't know. You guys have been together for awhile and you're comfortable around each other, so it's only natural to stay near after you both call it quits.
The bottom line is (AND YOU WILL FORGET THIS) is that she broke up with you. You guys are no more. Don't let her forget that she made that decision. It was SUCH a big deal to her, that she decided to end the whole thing. She did this for a specific reason....and that whole "I'm holding you back" thing just sounds like absolute codshite to everyone who hears it, and says it. Maybe you guys should take some space, take a step back to reflect on the shit and the good times and decide where to go from here.
Usually, being friends with a loved one doesn't work out. Everything needs to be taken very carefully...and as much as it hurts, I'd suggest some space. From the sound of things, it seems like you two kids just may get back together, but DON'T RUSH IT.

The most suckiest things about breakin up with someone is when they wanna be freinds and chat and shit after all is said and done...maybe in the future thats cool but right after a break up there is really no need to talk to eachother. I hope your not telling her you love her and miss her already cuz trust me thats exactly why shes callin in the first place.
Next time she calls say "whats up how are you? can i call you back i have three horny chicks over my house right now and their REALLY drunk....bye:)
