Welll I know there have been at lieast one thread about this but I cant hold it in anymore .I dont know why records comps keeep pumping out there old tracks.kinda pisses me off alittle when I cant find a tune that I have and I have to retire that tune for this reson or that.why dont they just either slow the perduction # down or stoip for a while then when there is a demand for that tune make a few more .I dont know it jsut makes it harder for people like me to find older tracks that I have or dont but ya know shit happens and so does life...then you keep moving on right ..or somthing like that ?!?

This has been discussed many times... but in a nutshell... record labels dont make tones of money so to re-press you would have to re-press 200 copies and sell 200 copies... A record label does not want to be stuck with 199 vinyl records (they are big and heavy) and out of pocket.

Why don't you ask the record companies/artists offering a fair price and see if you can get it on CD?
If I was a company, I'd do it. You can never have too many satisfied customers.
