Does anyone remember those old Speed Limit 140 BPM + (1-9) cds? I just got my Speed Limit 140 BPM + 8: On the Happy Hardcore Tip today! Its awsome! "Take me to The Top" is the best song!! Were any of the older ones (1-7) Happy Hardcores styles, or were they basically all break beat/Jungle?

well, the 8th volume has alot of happy parts thrown it, but ya, its 100% break beat. There is one song on the cd "Warped" by Citadal of Chaos that sounds a little on the Jungle side. If its Jungle then i crave more, lol.

1-3 were very old skool breakbeat.
4 & 6 were '94/5 dnb.. 5 was a dnb mix by darren jay
7 & 8 were old skool happy

I loved the Speed Limit 140 BPM + CD's. A good source of old skool hardcore. In fact, once of the best sources that I know of.
