Last night got a troijan to the Java folder. Antivirus couldnt do anything for it, so i just deleted the whole folder. After that the antivirus couldnt find it anymore. But still cant be sure if its still there somewhere, really makes me paranoid o_O

have had my account for years and nothing's happened to it tho, so fingers crossed!

I once had "2nd class" type of virus in 300 exe files on my PC. Only way i noticed it was by anti virus program. Had to do the classic Format C to get it off from all files :(

tis annoying but a) no one thinks i'm important enough to be hacked, and they're not wrong, and b) i don't think its worth hacking me coz i got nothing interesting anyway.
therefore it hasn't happened to me for which i am grateful

actually, everyones computer is interesting for hackers, because most hackers use hacked computers to DDoS a specific computer

Bad bad bad!!! It's always better to run both. Simply because a firewall only stops hackers, it doesn't stop infected files making their way to your machine, nor does it stop them running. I recommend AVG antivirus, as it's free, and works like it should. http://www.grisoft.com/ :)

Also, you said you've been lucky with virii. That's basically what it comes down to when you're downloading off sites you're not familar with. When you have Antivirus software that's not an issue, as long as you update regularly.

I hate hotmail. Its dirty.
Half the time I can't log in cos the server is too busy 
So now, I use my own mail accound I got with my webserver....MMmm domain names...
As for self-installing spyware/adware crap - I use firefox www.mozilla.org So good. The way the web was meant to be.

i went on mine 2day an everyfin was moved ma mails ad all bin deleted an der woz sum funny ones der an all 
i had 102 mails in recycle bin tho but dey woz all spam
an ma contacts were in different orders an dat
