Look Dave, The hardcore event in Scotland is as crap as you. I what an event like Hardcore Heaven in Glasgow. Like the ones they do in Sanctuary. Now what would you like to do, An event that they play tunes like The Technohead - I Wanna Be A Hippy, or tunes by Dougal, Styles or Scot Brown. Now Technohead Dave would like to dance to "I Wanna Be A Hippy" but not me and I don’t think the rest of us do ass well. So Dave, go to the CBBC chat room and talk how great the new Tweenies sing along song is.

I do agree with Phil_G that events like totally bonkers is a good thing. They are trying to get some of the big DJ's like Hixxy i think but Slammin' thinks there is no hardcore fans in Scotland and there is no money in it. Just look at the albums sales in the past 1 or 2 years. Thay have done well in England & Scotland, now that tells me that more ravers are in to hardcore and will come to events like Hardcore Heaven but they will most not travel down to london for it so they need to bring the raves to us.

Loadsa people like hardcore in scotland was a big part of growing up for me just not many go to events very often and there's too many neds into the scene and the same dj's and P.A's get booked all the time. the atmosphere is the best and a lot more gabba gets played than most places which i really miss about the glasgow events and theres very rarely any trouble. Also the amount of P.A's with quality stageshows is tremendous. The thing is there's not been much exposure to newer hardcore and i think it could be popular but more the bouncy stuff to the trancey style. So many people i new got into makina when i played it too them and i think stuff like quosh evolution and nu energy could become really big as well given the right coverage. From what i've heard from people older than myself into the scene that the decline in hardcore events in scotland came from too many people who liked what they liked and when promoters tried anything new didnt get a good response so they gave up in the end. I'd really like to hear that scotland was right back up on the hardcore map cos for the amount of people the amount of quality productions think about how ahead of there time ultrasonic etc were. If everyone keeps going out supporting hardcore with events that are happening more will come.

Slammin' I think you are taking the F**king P***!!!! If you can do Hardcore Heaven in Japan (http://www.hardcoreheaven.jp), you can do it in Scotland, so stop f**king the scene about and do one. Scotland Rules - Not England

OK, If they are not going to do one, What can wee do. It is clear that one person can't do it so it must be a team thing. That is why i think if E-Mails where sent to Slammin', They will act on it.

Totally agree with Phil G dont think they would come up at moment but if good local run events like twisted etc get a good response and grow people will take an interest.
