so when & what hc/hhc tune did u first hear that got u hooked..
for me it was jayke - Summer time rave & ravers world - paradise of rave, and this SICK Hc track called "Die Klootzaak(??) - domini Dimitree"(??) (not sure about this tracks title,long ass time since i've heard it,its on TD7) back in '96.

What happened with me is I heard "Eye Opener" by brisk and absolutely loved this stuff, but then I stopped listening and went back to rap for about 4 years. then I heard "You're Shining" and I was like "wtf have I been missing!" And then I got back into it so deep I started listening to all the stuff I missed while listening to rap! Luckily, I'm all caught up now, and lovin' every sub-genre of thi music as well. I came to love Freeform and straight Gabba just as much! Too much good stuff. Hehe

I could not agree more, Back in m Raver days I used to do "poi" aka swinging glowsticks around on strings like a mad man, But anyways That song came on at a party and oh man....that was it.

No particular tune for me - i just progressed from old skool hardcore/rave to the fourbeat style in '94/95.

Mmm not really sure what exact tune got me hooked but it was definitely the old rez cd's and ultrasonic, dyewitness, rhythmic state etc that were the first beats i listened to so started my hardcore experience. From there went to hhc, then makina, euphoric trance now all sorts.

hmmm, it was a cd that came with M8 back in 97/98, i had heard hardore before but not enough to know any names anyway, it was the first song which did it i guess
