Ok, who made that tune i posted?
Whether we get this or not, it doesn't prove a thing, it doesn't prove or even attempt to prove anyones idea that you can, or cannot tell an artists sound!

If you dont know it, you cant tell who it's by. Now that pretty much would prove my point :)

Not at all, because If I got it, I might already know it, IT might be a lucky guess. And If I don't get it, maybe it's a VERY VERY old track by someone....there are so many different ways!
Remember I also stated that although the exact artist might not be tracked down, you can often narrow it down to several artists.
This is something that can never be proved! But surely people can see that yes artists do often do different sounds & ideas. However more times than not artists use the same sounds in there tracks! (Why mess up a winning formulua?!).

I was more thinking like A "Yea that definetly sounds what Sy would do", or B "To be honest i have no idea". Maby i did misunderstood this topic, i though it was about knowing a tunes artist just by listening it. Maby i'm wrong?

Yes that would be like talking about genres, ofcourse you can narrow down and say e.g. that sounds like "Raverbaby" stuff. But that would be about the genre not the producer in my opinion.
Now maby i took the question wrong (But untill Squishy says "Whispering, your stupid", i'm going to assume i'm right :p). But this whole thing doesnt really have any purpose anymore, its like a joke that you have to explane, its not the same anymore. Also if i'm wrong then this is going way too offtopic and i dont want to hijack Squishy's topic..
It was Dougal & Mickey Skeedale "New Generation".

can't listen to the snipet you posted because work pc keeps saying there is a virus attached to it =/
you can pretty much tell who a lot tunes are by though. it's a lil harder when people colaborate but idividual producers you can pick out somewhat easily.

o_O is that even possible, i mean a virus attached to an .mp3 file? Anyway my PC is clean (or at least my antivirus cant find anything), the site where i uploaded it has also virus scanning, so i doubt its infected.

bah, no it aint, if you know the producers that well then im sure yuo can hear tricks that the artist uses, for instance trance
if you cant tell an atb track from another trance track then you gotta be deaf or somthing lol

I am sorry but Whispering has proved most of you wrong. A few people said we can tell who does what and no one got it right and it was a fair test.. Well Done whispering.
You're not just wrong, you're stupid, and you're ugly just like your mum.

I disagree, hes tunes e.g. Let U Go could have been made by 1000 other producers. Also take tunes like Killer or 9PM (Till I Come) they have nothing in common IMO.
