I can remember listening to quite a few CDs by what I thought was the artist "Happy Hardcore." For example:

99 Red Balloons
Children Of The Night
Super Mario Bros. Techno
Tetris Techno ("Lets play some Tetris motherf-----")

I'm trying to find these songs on CD but I haven't been able to find them. Is there a CD or two that they are on?

99 Red Balloons was by Jimmy J & Justim Time, and Children Of The Night was by Nakatomi, Happy Hardcore is the genre of thest tunes. I don't know the arists of the other ones though, sorry.

The 2 tunes i mentioned should be easy to get hold of on CD, though i can't think of any myself :)

please don't request mp3's =) and the cds which u remember listenning to, would probably be good ones to listen to again or go out and buy for those tracks ;)

if you're also interested in picking up the records 99 was repressed a bit ago so it shouldn't be hard, same with children of the night. shouldn't be hard to find with a little digging =)

I'm not looking for MP3s. That's why I said CD's...

Now, I was able to find two CD's that have the two songs you mentioned but what I'm mostly looking for is the "Tetrix Remix." It's what turned me onto the whole "happy hardcore" genre.

I found it... I was looking for "Tetris Techno Remix 2" by DJ Liquid. Found it via MP3... Couldn't find it on CD because it's not on a CD. ;)

yea, DJ Liquid is originally a DJ who span trance and most of those tracks from hix mixes has his name

Hypnotika.org used to have his mixes throu StreamLoad, but they where taken of.

Liquid made 2 mixes, Rave-n and Liquify (the later the best one, and containing the obviously misslabeld track of them all, Cant Stop Raving by Dune), before he just dissapeared from the scene
