Helloes to all.
I registered here years ago and posted a few times, but haven't in a long time. I'm a poor forumist. :(
Anyway, is it alright for me to link to my tunes here? I know it says to not post links to mp3 files, but I assume that means the bad kinds ;) .
Yeah, so I'm looking for some input on a song I'm working on now. I wrote this for the people who are always saying, "it's too happy." Even though I, personally, don't believe such a statement could be true, some don't like it super happy. So it's not as super cheesy happy as I usually do, a new sound for me, so I'd like to know what sounds good and what sounds bad.

Right now it just has a lame fade at the end, so pay no attention to that.

Right your link now works but your download speed is very poor its just over 1kb/sec. im guna have to bail out on this one (as its taking to long) but its probly great. Good Luck m8y t8y!

Unfortunately it seems that the the server hosting the file is pretty slow.
I'm trying to find some of my files and post it elsewhere. (none of my gear is together, moving craziness) :)

I got a bit busy with some other stuff, it's sorta fixed now.

should open a little page with a link to the file, right-click save-as. Works in IE, wasn't working in Opera.. lots of free servers weren't liking the hot-linking and stuff.

3 minutes in so far...the tune is pretty good, but a couple of things...
firstly it seems a bit dragged out; if you could cut it in places to get it closer to the main section that would be good (i.e. change a couple of sections from repeating four bars a go down to just two) or add something in to give an extra something as its coming in.
the piano sounds good but if its possible, see if u can shorten the sustain on the notes slightly; this will make each note more distinguishable between them.
ok 5 minutes 30 in... the synths ur using sound a bit flat; try and having them opposing the main tone of the track i.e. when there is a low note have the since go higher; this will give the track a bit more depth.
phew! that all seems like i'm slating u down but don't be disheartened!!! i think thats a really good effort and actually sounds decent man! there is nothin wrong with it but i just thought it could be changed a bit here and there.

by the way, i'm more into the bouncier, happier vibes of hardcore, so maybe u could post some of your other stuff? nice one man

they sound cool. but i think for happy hardcore they could be a little more faster? yeah
heh if i were capable of downloading ringtones on my mobile and i could get your tunes as a ringtone i would...

A little faster, eh? Well, faster is always better, i suppose. :)
Do you mean literally boost the tempo a couple beats, or that the structure moves slowly through the song(s)?
"It Feels So Good" was written at 175bpm, the others are 180+bpm.

first of all good luck with all the moving and i hope all ur stuff goes well 
second of all, i think although there were the sections that moved slowly, that was only in parts; once you've done those changes i've suggested (not that i'm the man at making tunes or anything ) then i think what really help would be if you basically shifted the standard speed of it to around closer to 180, this should it also get pressed to vinyl will give for a more suitable range of speeds.
well done again though man, that's an achievement of a tune!!!

i defo wouldnt call it happy not hardcore. Not a bad tune a few minor things need improving but I think JesterDJ said enough points for now :D Keep up the good work. Oh and by the way faster is not necsecerily better, do your work and your speed!
