The 'See Who Gets to the Bar First' dash - seen at every party I've been to & probably one of the only traditional sports left in the scene.
Failing that, maybe the 'Pull a Potential Partner', not an easy prospect by any means within the hardcore event itself, but a definite after-party contest as there is usually a girl to guy ratio of around 1 to 10.
Bonus points awarded if the partner is hooked within the allotted 'hardcore event' time limit.

i came home yesterday to be told id ****ing missed brazil versus sweden in the womens beach volleyball. i hate work sometimes

That would be good although it would be a British team so basically it will just be an English team (+ Simon Davies, & Ryan Giggs!)!
