Well people, as of late I am growing tired of hardcore, for numerous reasons.
I'm tired of caring for a scene that appears to be getting better, only to be occasionally shit all over by some random trance "artist"
I'm tired of getting flamed for no apparent reason. I'm putting full blame on ush - not the site - but some of the members of it. I have not recieved ONE flame in my whole time on happyhardcore.com and not once have I had a bad thought about this site. I just find it funny that in the same post IDR009 was announced, I was being flamed by someone who i'd never heard of because i'm "shit." To this day I have no idea who he is, nor do I care, but at the time that really got on my tits.
I'm just tired of a scene where if you're not simple-minded then you're not welcome. This isn't the end of hardcore for me, i'm just cutting down on it.

That's harsh mate but i don't think it should affect your opinion of hardcore.
I could quite easily manage without being on any internet hardcore sites for anything other than information, but i choose to stick around because i've got to know some cool people that i would definitely consider as genuine friends.
Just remember - the internet sites only represent a small part of the hardcore scene and when you're out there raving it's a totally different experience altogether.
Just stick at it mate and i'm sure it'll work out fine.

Hmmmm, true as because without the music there would be no raves!
But anyway, Your a good guy Rob as I and many others here know. I do know exactly where your coming from, but with any music genre or any walk of life there are always gonna be numerous plebs that like to try and upset others for no reason. Just enjoy the music, and the decent people ignore/forget about the plebs.

When i referred to raves, i meant the overall experience of the event, the music and the decent people you get to meet (not the knobheads who sit behind a computer who just have a go at people for fun).

the reason people on here dont flame you is because you make good music!
i mostly agree with what your sayin - although i would add an extra, im getting tired of hearing the same thing over and over in the non-freeform and breakbeat side to hardcore. so im leaning dramatically toward the freeform/breakbeat side these days :)

yea, id have to say dj's need to release there stuff out quicker, but also it is the fact that so many dj's want to become known and they all use the same vinyl, quosh, evolution, raverbaby etc. instead of making there own, and i understand that as i use those labels as well b/c i have no money to put my own work on vinyl

Id say become freinds with that guy who was talkin Shit, find out where he lives, get him to "hang out" with you sometime, then throw him in front of a moving vehicle first chance you get.
Its cool to do hardcore in "small doses". Just dont allow yourself to be mad about the whole thing. Im only a member on this music site. So its nice to know that other sites are FUKT UP and this one has treated you good. :)
