Was Inspector Gadget ever popular over there on your side of the world. I always wanted to know what Dr. Claw looked like.... 
This is a younger crowd i know, but did anyone watch Muppet Babies. (Jim Henson's Muppets but just smaller) They never showed their Nanny's face either in all their shows.

inspector gadget was the bees knees over here too, but not as good as many of the others mentioned.
muppet babies was so annoying, i couldn't hack it drove me mad.
as for the not showing of the nanny's face, that reminds me of cow and chicken where "mom and dad" didn't have top halves to their legs which was just trippy. that cartoon was the ****ing bollox though
