In the North East they r called charvs or charvers and if you listen to makina or hardcore then u r classed as a charv (the new monkey/hangar 13 r 2 popualr raves and most ppl that go r charvs)

Fair play steve o mate but the hangar's class no bad attitude to me or my mates from anyone when i came down for it and we're not from the area so if anything would be an easy target to groups of nutters wantin to start on people. Have heard different about the monkey right enough and from seein photos and dvd's does look fulla little stabber types plus music's been there done that so never bothered checkin it out think i'll leave it that way. The rave scene in glasgow is just the same mate as in lotta neds don't let that stop you goin out and rockin it to the music you love cos i've never had a bad night yet. Yeh the attitude is better at the hangar, still find most of the ppl that go are charvs, just older and more mature (im not sayin that evry1 into teh rave scene in the NE are charvs coz im not and i know a canny few ppl who get classed as them just bcoz of the music). The monkey is bad because half of the kids think theyr absolutely brick whereas the hangar is for the older ravers who dnt hav the same attitude.

Baldo, on glasgow survival go to the gallery of Neds and get to the pic without the balck bars across the eyes (the 'dresses neds') The one on the left is MC Effect that duz the hangar and powerhouse!!! He's not even scottish!!

LOL i noticed that myself mate think it's MC effect and two of the other north east MC's think one's MC Attack the quote says " These people are good examples of the "Dressed Ned". The photo must've been taken off one of the glasgow websites but quite a lot of people were into north east style tunes and they all dress the same as well so a couple of the photos could be from your way.
