Well, I finally got to the point that I think I'm ready to promote myself and are going to make a demo/promotion mix cd to send out to "people of importance"

I'm going to use 80min cd's with two mixes on them. One freeform mix with stuff like nu-energy, relentless etc. and one UK hardcore mix with asorted tracks. 40 min each.

I pretty much have the tracklists worked out, but I figured I ask for advice on here too. Understad that since I live in Sweden not much of the people I'm going to send this cd to are familiar with hardcore in any form. So if anyone have experience of what tracks goes well with trancers/psy-trancers and the likes feel free to share.

I'm mostly unsure about the uk hardcore mix, don't know if I should go with mainly raver baby or maybe if I dare to throw in some breakbeat hardcore.

Anyway, I'm going to record this weekend so if you got any ideas just shoot!

Make sure the first track isn't boring. Gotta have a nice intro, but make sure its not a stupidly overused one in the hardcore scene.
Record the mix 20 times if you have to. You need to make a big impression and you only have 80 minutes to do it in. Do some EQing and volume levels in soundforge too, that can really mess up a mix...
As for your uk hardcore dilemma, i'd go full out raver baby to be honest. You know what most trancers are like - trance is aaaalllll they want.
