I agree with the majority of the replies here (unsurprisingly), especially Brian - who generally manages to say what i'm thinking!
I have made some good friends from posting here (and i talk to Dave too  ) but not once have i had to literally beg for people to like me.
I don't think there's anything different about me but generally people seem to like me.
In fact, i'll put my MSN addy here for anybody who wants to to add me (or you could add me to make it look like somebody likes you)

hey, i find it lame that a 20 year old is telling how sad he is because he's spent a year of his life searching for online buddies and hasn't really found any yet.
i don't know what's so sad about not having any online buddies...
what did you expect? this is a forum with 13,000 members. in a topic like this, there's going to be atleast 1 post that's "cold". and it just so happens, i'm the one who posted it. =)

The majority of the people here are very friendly and so am I at times, but if I get annoyed I mostly likely will be very mean and give you an attitude. That's just me.
I know you said you have found online buddies but that doesn't mean you should start going on forums again and practically beg people to consider you their buddy. It's just childish and...pointless?

About that. Normally we don't say nice stuff (or bad stuff) about each other,cause it would be random and a bit weird, unless the person's leaving or something. Or if, say like I were leaving. I might point some people out and say blah blah blah, thanks or something.

Also Blackcrow you've been a user about 9 months. And you havent been active user all that time. It seems that you come here every now and then, not everyday. You make it sound, like you've been searching "online buddies" 24/7 for a year, witch i doubt. And thats what makes it sound really weird. Just my 0.02?.
