the stars relate to how many posts you have mate.
the only thing i'd ask is that you dont go mental and post loads of crap just to get them. nobody really takes much notice of them and if you start spamming the forum dave murray will come to your house and put your family on spikes............ you have been warned!

Hes joking... You get the 5th star, when you have 500 posts. If you spam, Silver will reset the post counter. But the main thing is, if you spam, you will get a reputation as a spammer, and it will take more then 500 good posts to clear that reputation. The reason why that has to be sayd, is that some users post just to get the 5 stars. You can probably imagine what the quality of their posts are then.
