Ok, there is a large amount of rumours regarding who should (that is should not will) play the role of Superman in the new movie they are making. Alot of people are saying Nick Cage, Josh Hartnett, Asthon Kutcher and Jude Law. I personally think none of these are suitable to even be considered for the job but that leaves the question: Who should?
I am thinking along the lines of maybe Dean Cain (played superman in the TV series) or maybe Joaquin Phoenix.
I know it's sad but I am a big Superhero fan!
Any Suggestions?

Just want to add the fact that I did not come up with this topic on my own, I was part of an agrivated arguement regarding this with my work colleagues. I don't sit around thinking this sort of shit on my own, hmmmm I wonder who will be the spiderman villian, oohhhh I wonder if they will make a new wonder woman film (they are) I'm not that sad. sorry but just had to clear that up.

Superman movies were already done in the 70s/80s.

I know there have already made 4 films! All of them being complete balls well mabey not the first one cause it was a break through in special effects at the time!
But if they are making another one I think it will only work if they go with a unknown actor like Christopher Reeve was when they picked him for the first one! I think the audience would find it hard to believe Aston Kutcher or Nicholas Cage as Superman!
