Yeah mate, they are fully licensed for sure, its just Silver thinks that Downunderground doesn't pay the artists, which I don't really think is true cause why would artists like Scott Brown and Pee Wee Ferris do mixes for them still.
DJ J-me
Scott Brown - Ravers choice 1, which was released earlier this year was pulled from the shelf I believe

downunderground have a heaps sketchy record with paying artists. nik fish, captain kirk and a couple of other big sydney djs appeared in court charged with selling unlicensed tracks (on downunderground cd releases), kevin energy had big problems with them and i believe scott brown did as well...
looks like a good cd though, i love storm + euphony, i just don't want to give any money to downunderground.... might just have to find some other way to get it.

Is that the time when Kevin Energy contacted all major producers and asked to boycott it. And it was posted in like every hardcore forum? I think it´was posted on the front page news in here too.
Would love to get a Storm & Euphony CD too, but i dont wanna support record companys like that.
EDIT: Found it, here is the text:

Kevin Energy publicly speaks out about Industry Sharks
Kevin Energy no stranger to the hardcore scene yesterday publicly spoke out via a email to all industry keys members and well as NuEnergy members plus a public posting on the Nu Energy web site. HappyHardcore.com has the complete text for your reading, it's sad but very true story and I must say there are many people like this in the hardcore scene, HappyHardcore.com has not delt with the record label named in the text so I recommend everyone read the entire passage and make up your own mind.
"I would like to make you aware of an Australian Album company that has been licensing music and not paying the due debts to the labels. Slamm records and Down Under Ground operate from Sydney. They have licensed material from our Collective in the past and not paid a penny of the advances let alone royalties. When contacted the owner Chris AKA Chris Cross has been rude, aggressive and offensive. I am also aware of other UK labels that have had the same problem with this company. Our scene of small and independent companies relies on good day to day business which can not be achieved with this company. If you are a record label and have been approached for licensing by Slamm Records or Down Under Ground please take the above into account. If you are a customer looking to purchase a compilation you may like to think about where your money is actually going."

Silver posted that on the news page later->
quote: DJ Storm & Euphany go downunderground
A new hardcore CD out of Australia from record label Downunderground called "Happy Hardcore vol. 3" has hit Australian hardcore stores over the past weekend. The release is a double disc release with the second disc being a DVD with rave visuals. The CD's are mixed by DJ's Storm & Euphany. HappyHardcore.com has the complete tracklisting and artwork for everyone to checkout. Downunderground have also been at the center of a few legal issues with regards to non-payment to artists and labels, we have checked into this before posting this important and everyone has been sorted out correctly.
Note: This CD is only released in Australia, sorry international people we will attempt to stock some but we can't make any promises.

Looks too much like a Storm & Euphany promo vehicle to me.
Make your own kind of music, even if no one else sings along!
