i had NO CLUE what the heck you guys were talkin about til i saw the commercial for it last night....it looks like a fun game. That aussie tracklist is decent considering they have 99 red balloons and a Santana jam (Oye Coma Va). How bad did the US tracklist suck comet? And it is pretty easy nowadays to "chip" your ps2. my freinds recently did it with no probs.

i was in HMV yesterday actually and you know u can play on the consoles they have put out; i was playin that game and it is ****in mental. if i was mashed playin that i would've had a hernia laughin!!!! absolute classic
and when i saw 99 red balloons on there i couldn't believe it i thought that was well cool. wouldn't let u play all aspects u could only play a couple of the tunes on there and that ain't one of them so i'm assuming that is is the origial by nena. but even that was a semi-decent tune.
made me laugh at any rate

I'm planning to get it for Christmas or something.. whenever we've got the money. Saving for Paper Mario 2 right now :D
As for sucky song lists, nothing comes close to the Eyetoy: Groove song list. Not sure if there was a version other than American. The ONLY song I played on that ('cause if I DIDN'T play it my mom would FrEaK oUt for getting me something BEYOND HORRID...) was Let's Groove by Earth, Wind, and Fire  Mom got it for me thinking it was like Para Para Paradise, and it IS in a sense... but DK will be better.

Whoa IIDX talk on here. The last thing I'd ever expect.
Beatmania IIDX is indeed a fine game. I'm not too impressed with Donkey Konga though. It's basically Taiko No Tatsujin (a relatively popular drum game in Japan, also by Namco) but with a liscence to use Monkeys. Dumbed dwon because of the liscence its a muchly poor game :(

I love Donkey Konga, it's very fun. Me and my friends have a lot of fun when we do the clap parts. Instead of clapping, you can scream, and the clap goes off automatically.

Hahahaha... never expected to see IIDX talk here neither.
I was kind of bored of it, sold my controller + PS2... worked a lot, then bought 2 SL-1200s and a mixer.
I don't regret. I was also a "hardcore DDR player", but I really got bored of Bemanis after that many years mastering em really well.
Now I'm mastering my mixing more and more, and that's fun as hell! It's kind of a game to me.
