Ok, I put this track together a month or two ago. I there were a few things I wanted to change but I had enough trouble completing it with my crappy sound card as it is. Check it out, let me know what you think, any constructive criticism is welcome
I titled it "Sleep Walking".

Pretty decent, i think the bass should be louder and punchier though, where did you get the warpy sounds in the background from?
Pretty good though.

not a bad tune musically, i like the riff that's in triplets and how it goes back and forth between 3/4 and 4/4.. very clever
the sounds could use a lot of work, there's a lot of vanguard preset action going on in this track, you could stand to just tweak the presets even and try to come up with some of your own sounds, which would give the track some extra personality.
i like the little stutter effect in the intro, very cool.
lots of work on the levels and EQ'ing needs to be done, mixdowns are a hard thing to do and take practice and adjustment to your gear and surroundings before you get good @ them.. so patience is definately a thing you've gotta have when it comes to stuff like that.. one good technique for EQ'ing is to narrow your bandwidth all the way and then boost it all the way and slowly sweep through your frequency range until you find a really annoying sounding frequency. then wide the bandwidth and turn the eq down to like -3 or -4 to cut back on the sound you didn't like :)
hope some of this helped/helps :)

wow, half of what you said i didn't really understand.

...but i know once I figure out what it means it will help a lot
What I really need to do is just sit down and really dig in to all of this stuff, now that I understand the basics of how it operates I can really get going.
I will definitly be able to get more indepth once I have enough for the new iMac G5 and some monitors. Right now I'm running of regular PC speakers
Thanks to everyone for all the positive feedback!
...btw, anyone have any objections to the iMac G5?
