that sample is taken from "4 hero - mr kirk's nightmare". it was released in 1990, i can imagine people going to a rave and taking pills for the first time and freaking out after hearing that. not a great tune to play to hundreds of people that are off the head at a time when ecstacy was a new drug and stories about people overdosing and dying are flying about raves. id say a lot of djs got a bit of stick for playing that back in the day. the original songs on "the ultimate rave album" 6cd box set

lovin' dougals nightmare but i can take or leave 3000 cycles, i like the up lifting breakdown mixed with the quite dark vocals i reckon its good, i dont those vocals would suit nething really hard

I love it because I have the orginial and it always made me laugh for some reason when the guys says....
"your son is dead"... and the guy goes "eerrrrreeerr hooooww..."
