Hi people! Right I really need your help! I'm doing a media project at college in which I have to create a magazine so obviously I have decided to create a magazine totally dedicated to the rave/hardcore scene, since this area is a niche.
However, I am finding it a struggle since I have to use similar magazines of the same genre to base my ideas and I have only been able to get hold of mixmag which is to loosely linked to hardcore. Therefore, If anyone knows of a magazine that used to be on sale that I might posibly be able to get hold of on e-bay that would be fantastic, and who knows, maybe one day I might get to do it for real!

I'm guessing there wasn't one? I'm pretty sure though I heard or read about one that was around a few years ago

freebass has a hardcore section, I don't know if that's still around or not though. they would be sent with any orders I would get from subsonicunderground.

If your in the UK pickup M8 magazine, Ravin Eye, Upfront & Mixmag they all cover hardcore in one way or another...

There were loads of Hardcore mags around a few years back (Dream, To the core, M8 etc).
My mother threw all mine away!!

Ravin eye gets handed out for free outside of raves you can subscribe and some shops send it out with orders.

try getting hold of old thundermagazine (old dutch gabber mag) and strobe (old dutch house/hardcore/electronics mag). Good layout, lots of pics, good stories (mostly in dutch though).

Thanks guys, it took me a while but I've managed to get my hands on a copy of dream mag from imorecords website, i dunno if it's gonna make it to my house in time since my research has 2 be handed in by tuesday and I only ordered it about 10 mins ago, what d'ya recon?
