Can anyone tell me how much it would cost to send a record within England. Also how much it would cost to send it from the uk to mainland europe and the UK to america.

It would cost about £2 to send within the UK, i don't about anywhere else though, sorry :P

Sweden is just under £3 standard airmail and thats for 1 vinyl its the same for the whole eu.

Yeah, as H2G said - about £2 within the UK is about right depending on how it's packaged (if you include a charge for the mailer and stiffener).
As a rough guide £3 within europe is about the average (worth checking the different options here cos they can vary quite a bit)
U.S/Australia should be around £4-5 at the most.
Surface mail is cheaper but takes about 9 years to get there!
When i started posting records i used eBay as a guide until i got used to it - people really appreciate low postage charges so try and keep them low (without leaving yourself out of pocket).
On eBay i tend to charge £2.50 (UK) for postage for one tune - that includes 1 or 2 stiffeners, a new record mailer and recorded delivery.
Using recorded delivery makes it a lot easier to track the record you've posted and it's a lot easier to get compensation if something does go wrong.
