On sum of my records, one side of the vinyl is really slippy (eg wen u pull back on it, it keeps spinnin for much longer than normal) but on the flip side of the vinyl it is perfectly ok. Any1 nah whats gannin on? How do i stop it? Its much harder 2 mix coz they r soo sensitive to human touch. Plz help!

I believe it's just how the record was manufactured,
I got some records like that as well. Just gotta be gentle.

the record is warped. If a record is warped and you play the side where only the middle of the record is touching the platter, it starts up slower. you get kickass backspins on them though

stick some paper across the spindle hole on the vinyl - place on deck, this will tighten the fit of the vinyl to the spindle (also very useful for records that skip when trying to scratch!) (see photos when ive updated!) i have a few pieces like this. the piece shown has the exact same problem as your's its warped on one side. like an umbrella, on one side, the very edges of the vinyl grip the slipmatt - on the other side, it spins freely on the very inner label

your vinyl may also have this problem (fig1), and doing the following may help your vinyl spinning problem, it solves most of mine.

see if your record does this when you nudge it side to side (fun little gap appearing by the spindle)
(fig1)
then you take your paper and put it thus'ly on the underside of the vinyl

then place the vinyl back on deck, and the dispersed paper as the spindle punches a hole will fill up those lil gaps that the vinyl has left - and tightening the vinyl to the spindle, which should help the spinning problem.

there, all better :) (fingers crossed)

i tear up pieces of scotch tape and put them through the spindle hole...it takes a bit of tape when you've worn the spindle hole but it looks nicer than sticking a bunch of paper on the record

nice plastikman slips triquatra
