I cant find a Happy Hardcore/NRG Club in Reading anyway.
The Only clubs are house/rnb/pop/chart; clubs Stacked to the top with comercial-Music for all the townie's.
....I-cant-beleive-the-"Reading-Bourough-council".....are'nt jumping-at-the extrodinary-opertunity....to demolish all the other clubs to make way for HARDCORE.....

There's not many hardcore 'clubs' around the country I know off, but there are loads of raves every weekend. I reckon it's quite nice travelling around to new venues all time, especially now the Sanctuary has closed (*sob*).

So what boo hoo there aint any hardcore club's in your town, you will actually find there is barely any "hardcore clubs" in any town, jesus man dry your eye's & locate your ball's and ****ing live with it.

Yeah I am not so sure about clubs that play strictly hardcore,dont feel so bad ,in my area there is basicly no hardcore at all.sad huh.

I spent the weekend just gone in Reading industrial enjoying a five rigg free party playing freeform hardcore, gabba, techno, hardstyle and hard trance party's are held there fairly regular.

There all right mate, Yeh theres no hardcore clubs in your town but there is in others so jump on a ***** train or sumthin!! Trust mate it will be worth it whereeva it is.

crow i wouldnt complain...ive had to drive far distances just to check out events. Like dave said, there arent any "new" clubs anywhere.

I get really pissed off with the lack of hardcore where I'm from as well (Stirling). It's not that easy to get back from a gig unless ur prepared 2 fork out £30 on a taxi, as well as the tenner 2 get there.
Of course ur gonna be a little devestated wen u c all the neds,students and oldies being catered for and not the average joe who just likes a rave every now and again.

There is a really good "Rave club" down in cardiff, Wales, which i going to go to at some point.
When my life stop throwing up barriers.
What i like about Welsh Clubbing is you have all the Pleasure of clubbing in an exteme club, like a club in London.
But you have the Fantastic, Beutifull Welsh Scenary.

Wow, two whiners that don't have a clue.
(This is aimed Blackcrow & B.C_in_the_mix)
Most of the folks on here are in the same boat some find it even harder than you two beleive it or not? There are very few clubs. Dave is telling the truth. What usually happens is that a promoter for a hardcore night will book a venue. If it goes down well with that club's owners then they may allow another night to be held there, if not then the promoter will go searching for another venue.
Now as far as your "problem" is conserned, you have three choices (well probably more, but three main ones anyway):
1. Learn to drive, then get some mates who drive also & alternate the driving to events between you (you can actually enjoy an event without being off your cake).
2. Start your own event - after learning all the ins & outs of staging such a party, getting to know other promoters, DJ's, PA's and managers, finding capital, running at a loss for a while & finding a sh*t load of people to fill your event every week/month/year - you too could run the next Helter Skelter or Dreamscape (ok maybe not).
3. Come on here & moan about it to people who have the same problem & either resort to options 1 or 2, or simply resign themselves to the fact that they can't get to any events at all & don't they complain.
Come on guys, wake up, do you really think people want you to come on here & bitch about a "problem" that they have themselves.
Blackcrow: Bulby_g has already mentioned a free party in your area, so why go all the way to Wales? You're not gonna see any scenery inside a club anyway! Free parties rock, & from what Bulby said it looked like an absolute stormer of a party. Besides, all you've done on this board so far is winge about stuff.
B.C_in_the_mix: You live in Stirling? What the hell are you playing at man, you live just along the road from Frequency at the Martell in Falkirk, which has hardcore nights on almost every month!! I reckon it's more a case of you wanting to bitch at Mr Murray, rather than a justified reason to post.

A 'hardcore club' would destroy one of the best things about hardcore. As raves aren't on every week (well, the large ones), I look foward to em so much more than if they were on every week. And also, the drive there and back is a laugh too, bombin down in my mates Nova with the tapes from the last event playing to get ya in the mood.
If there was a hardcore club where you could just go into the nearest town centre to, it would just become boring about a while.
