Scott Brown plays gigs all over the world on a regularly basis some much bigger than uproar so probs more like international commitments than anything personal. Anyway scott gets booked at plenty big events down this way, a lot more than i could have watched him when i was livin in glasgow and thats where he's from so we should just enjoy a different dj been booked. i have to say uproar have been quality imo for varying there lineups and basically just puttin on wkd nights in general and varietys the spice of life, i dont think it's a good thing for 1 dj to play every big rave there is.

i thought that as well, Uproar does do the business for line-ups, but why leave out scott numerous times? when they normally have other big dj's such as Hixxy, Dougal etc playing every one. seems weird to leave out such a big player in the hardcore scene every time apart from once rather than switching it around more.

Scott Brown has been unavailable for the events when we have wished to book him this year. We do have him fully confirmed for our 1st event of the new year though, more details to follow.
Thanks for your positive comments regarding our line-ups, we do try to ensure they are as varied as possible.
We are always interested in your comments & what DJ's you would like to see & I do read these forums quite often so feel free to make suggestions as to what artists we book, we will take this into concideration when putting our line-ups together.
Don't forget our next event "Winter Wonderland" on December 4th at The Emporium (Coalville)
Rude & the Uproar Crew.

There's no doubt in my mind that Uproar is the best rave in the UK at the moment. There line up's are what line up's should be. I just wish Slammin would take a leaf out of Uproar's book. Big up to Jon and Rich.

to BassEd, u cant say uproar not as good cause scott brown aint there, if ya wanna see scott brown go to any other rave but slammin rarely has say sharkey or gammer and uproar at least try summit different. i try and vary my raves (uproar one month, slammin the next, then perhaps HTID the next month. then u get see all ya faverite DJS.

We could book every single "Big" DJ for all of our events if we wanted too, it's just that we like to make our line-ups a bit different, it's our way of doing things. We like to push some new talent & showcase some very different back to back sets just to make our events look & feel different to others, if we all did the same line-ups as Slammin there wouldn't be much difference between the two events would there ?
Personally I think Slammin Vinyl are excellent event & I really enjoy performing at them, however the scene would get very boring if everyone copied each others lineups.

very well said... i heard the tape pack from uproar 'the big one' recently and it is top class... best set of dougal's i've heard, with you, odyssey and storm absolutely owning the mic. good on you for doing something different :) __________________________________________ If Yoda so Smart in Force Is, Why Words in Right Order he Put Not?

respect to the rudeboy for clearing things up! my opinion is that Slammin' have in the past showed they know how to mix line-ups up, but the next Slammin at shepton mallet is exactly what you'd expect, and nothing more. personally i like to look at a flyer and see a definite appeal to going to that rave and seeing something different than single dj's who we could all see week in week out. HTID and Uproar in my opinion are heads above Slammin in that respect, hopefully Slammin' will mix it up a bit more next time. For me, the only true aspect worth looking forward to is seeing the single DJ's WITH so many other people. big up Uproar and HTID!
