I am desperately looking for a Happy/Hardcore scene in Texas. Texas used to be the shit for all types of music till the rave scene seemed to fall out a couple of years ago due to some dumb 20/20 special. Since then good electronica has been hard to come by. We are fortunate to have a pretty strong DnB scene, but that is not enough.
Texas needs a Hardcore scene.
I simply must experience the music i love in a large acoustically sound environment. I know there must be at least one room, in one club, one night a week somewhere in this great state that plays electronica above 120 bpm! I know there are promoters here cause i see trance events out the ass everywhere i go. I am just looking for an outlet, if not to spin at then simply to listen to. I know there are other people who feel this way, there has to be. if i am shit out of luck on this one maybe i can try to convince some dj to come down for some big ticket show, if only to open.
Some one out there knows somebody who knows some one whos uncle's ex-roomates' former boyfriend who can so something about this musical travisty. please inform this person.
Or perhaps you are some one who at least likes this kind of music and live in Texas. WHY ARENT YOU DOING ANYTHING ABOUT THIS!!!!!! We dont all ride horses, wear cowboy hats, and listen to country music. As a matter of fact a very small chunk of the population fits this description. Honestly, most of us hate country music. It is a fair assumption to say that Hardcore probably hasnt graced the eardrums of a majority of Texans and if the paterns continue many never will. YOU CAN CHANGE THIS! Do a bunch of cowboys a favor and bring hardcore to Texas.
Feel the same way i do?!?!?! Do something about it, REPLY AND SHOW SUPPORT!!!!!

Save up and throw your own party, work with other promoters in the area, I know a couple hardcore DJs out your way, hit me up and I'll see about directing you the right way.

Hit up the 4-Korners-Krew (i.e. the Hardcoreforya Krew [i.e. JismBunny and the gang]) I'm sure they would love to drive down to a gig, its the break they need. Not that they arent good DJ's, they're great. DJ Beartrap plays a mix of DnB/Jungle/Hardcore, he is a f*cking visionary.
Anyway, head on over to http://www.hardcoreforya.co.uk to get more info ----------------------------- Dub dub dub dub dubadadub dub dub dub...

i just moved out to houston from LA.. the scene in LA is off the ****ing hook-
but i really don't know shit in texas.. i happen to spin DNB, but i've got a crate of HHC records and a good slice of gabber.. nonetheless, it would be cool to hook-up w/ some people who are into the same shit i am.. and better yet, eventually put together an event or a monthly. Texas has the 'huge' state ego trip, so whatever- but i find it hard 2 believe this 'huge' state doesn't have more people who are into this scene...

the reason the state has an ego trip is because it was the only state that wasn't part of the US.
don't mess with texas...or something

hey folks,
If you are a DJ in the houston area, holla. I spin HHC (originally from san francisco) and looking to meet up other fans. Myself and some other folks from a promotions crew are looking to throw a monthly in houston.
msn messenger me: [email protected]
peace!
