Thank you to all who came and partied hard at our 3rd party @ air on
Saturday and we would like to say a big Thanks for making this the best one (yet) of the year with over 2200 in attendance!
Over all the night went as planned and everyone seemed to be enjoying the music and the atmosphere, we did have some small problems on the night and we would like to apologies to you for any disappointment that was caused and also we want to keep you well informed of what changes we are making to smooth out the problems.
We had a few problems with the queuing system where it took a little bit
longer than we would of liked to get you into the venue, due to a bit of
confusion over which que was which and the searches being done we DID make some mistakes. We have already organized and total changed the procedure for the searches and queing system for all our htids next year.
At around 2am we got called up to look at the ceiling under the 'Harder they come' room, which was moving up and down an alarming amount with a few BIG cracks starting to show and plaster coming away!!! We had no choice but to shut the room immediately. We managed to talk Scorpio , squidge and ribbs to stay an hour later (thank you so much for staying) and play 5-6 in the old skool til i die room as this was planned to finish at 5. We are having structural engineers come into the club to look at the floor up there to see if it is safe to let you all loose again up there and or what we can do to make it safe ready for next the next event.
We can only apologies for these problems and promise that things are already being done to rectify them.
Due to a few comments that have been made across some Internet forums we would also like to explain to you a little about some of our safety procedures at HTID - We Employ 6 extra highly qualified first aides who all can administer life saving procedures if need be, along side them we have another 2 paramedics are at all our events and also the first aiders the venue itself has in and around the venue - All the staff are connected to each other all night by cb radio and any problems do get attended as soon as we are made aware of any incident. We will always have at least 2 members of staff in every arena through out the night who can call on an immediate response for first aid assistance or security assistance. Hope this clears up any queries you may have had as far as our safety measures go.
Over all we had a great night and we hope you and your fellow htid-ers had fun! ! Thanks to all the artist's who help create such a great evenings
entertainment see you all soon
