depends, if he's got his own m8s with him they should help him but if he's alone and stays down I'd check on him, to make sure he ain't dying or something...

I reckon most people would like to think that they would always help some1 in trouble like that, but as i have found from my own experience will just look on.
Fair play to ya for helping him, there is too much of this let some1 else do it mentality about imo.

a lot of the time its hard to establish whether or not the person has just had a few drinks and is just sorta getin it outta the system, or has gotten himself into some deep excrement.
if however there is someone up shit creek without a paddle and i clearly clock their ina bad way, i'd do something about it. thats just me personally, i can't answer for anyone else.
Generally though i'd have thought that if anyone saw somebody in a state that clearly was beyond their control they would do something about it.
Always remember; you are unique, just like everyone else

The only time I have ever had someone collapse in a club was years ago when I was about 15, I was the only person there who helped him out. Everyone else just stood watching for 5 minutes until help arrived. People who don't help should be ashamed of themselves as they would want help if they collapsed.

This happened down the Bigg Market in Newcastle apparently, some kid collapsed and no1 did anything so the bouncers or staff just picked him up and sat him down coz they thought he was just pished but had actually died. Just shows ppl need 2 take more care, with themselves and with other ppl.

the best thing to do usually, is just attract the mc or security then try and make some space and let security do the rest. i wouldnt want to interfere in something i wasnt sure about. but i think in a situation where i could help someone i would.

if someone collapses everyone should take notice and see if the person is alright. you never know when a person really needs medical attention or just needs some fresh air...
it's so sad how many people just look away as if to say "not my problem." I mean it's not like you're required to give the person cpr, just make sure they are ok.

fair points, but you cant say that about raves only, things happen in everyday life.
some kid at my school has epilepsy and he collapsed once, it was distressing to see this, i've known this kid for ages. but i couldnt do anything about it. one of my mates (shes a sprinter) ran for help, most people walked by not watching or staring, but these are kids and i dont believe they have been educated in these circumstances, i sat with him and used my blazer as a cushion for his head, but really nothing could be done. i do remember going to a local hospital on a school trip, that taught us alot. but that was years ago. i cant remember most of it, schools should teach more about this issue in P.S.H.E, and less about ****ing peer pressure...

If its at a rave in a shop on the street in a pub in the cinema anywhere if you see someone in bother you should help them out if it was you or someone in your family you would hope that people would help them.

I was at Uproar "Last Chance to Dance" in Milton Keynes a couple of months back, at about 5.55am, the music stopped, Mc Whizzkid called for security and a lad no older than 18 was carried out by the bouncers, obviously in a bad way as he was completely rigid and foaming at the mouth. I was stood
on the balcony at the back looking out over the crowd, what shocked me was that no-one gave him a second glance until the security arrived. I would like to think I would have helped him if I were stood next to him. I would also like to think that some one would help me if I were in the same situation! Us Ravers are in the minority in society. We have to look out for each other. No one else will.
