I'm thinking about purchasing either an xm radio or sirius radio tuner...they have a few dance channels on there which is nice. However, internet radio is by far superior to satellite right now because of all the different dance genre stations I get access to. Does anybody know if I-tunes will launch a satellite that will broadcast all of its radio stations?? Cause if they are, I won't buy either xm or sirius.
P.S. Wouldn't it be awesome if we could listen to happyhardcore.com in our cars!?!?

It would be great, my dad has sirius over there, and while its great, it dosnt seem that there are that many decent dance channels at all. Shame really. Im not sure when we will get satalite radio here, we may not need it our countrys too small, as we get DAB here (same thing, different broadcasting method).
Maybe as its a relativly new technology the companys have unreally high start up charges for the broadcasting equipment, but getting DI on XM or siruis would rock :D

Yeah I know a bit about this...
Zoom ahead 5 years... everywhere you go there will be a wifi (wireless internet) point, internet will basically be free and radio's / walkman's will not be FM but WiFi you will be able to pickup any internet radio stations anywhere. The next version of the i-pod due sometime in the next few years will be like this (will work with all wireless hubs and apple's airports), so you can listen to happyhardcore.com radio anywhere!
As for satellite and the others I know our radio station and Digitally Imported have been in discussions with them but nothing is certain yet (don't quote me saying it's coming because as far as I know I don't know yet).
BUT... you can get internet radio on the go and for your car NOW... I recieved an email over the weekend telling me that a guy was listening to HappyHardcore.com is his car and had a signal 98% of the time from Texas to Colorado... They way they did it was they had a pocket PC that could listen to radio streams, they plugged it into their something called T-Moblie internet which was the internet bit, then plugged the audio out of the pocket PC into the car stereo and was able to listen to all of the crazy hardcore action on the happyhardcore.com radio channel mobile!
I am tring to get more information on T-Moblie internet and how to get this setup working, I will then write an article on it as I think happyhardcore.com radio in the car and while your walking around is totally cool!
