Been with my GF for over 3 years and I don't see it ending any century soon.
We both went to a rave, whilst I loved it, she hated it. She left Early and I stayed. It did not affect our relationship.

My BF isn't into the scene for his personal reasons but until he met me he has a different view now. However, I party ocassionally when the DJ line up is good. He wouldn't go still but he won't hold me back from going to one. At least he likes the music :)
Ppl have to learn to put their foot down and lay the cards out on the table, if a person doesn't like your hobbies/etc...then they shouldn't be with you, but ppl shouldn't have to give up their happiness to please someone else and stay miserable. Life is too short so... fuk 'em.

hehe i met my boyfriend thru Raving!! he organises illegal raves!!!!ive always wanted to go to raves but was never able till i met him cause none of my mates are into it so im VERY happy and lucky ive met him and we'r havin de best time together!!  he's registered on this site btw! hardly ever cums on cuz he forgot his password!! hehe

Mate, you're not alone. I've seen all of what I said happens, loads of times.
Another mate of mine split with his gf and took up raving again. He's never been happier...
Me? Weeell I nice girl would be nice. But I'm in no rush. I'm happy spending all my money on me at the moment!

............"see the light"-caused a lot of arguements. She went away travelling (coinsedently) but i didn't even give a shit, just dumped her while she was away. While she was away i kind of came to and stopped missioning it to London/Milton keynes/some woods every wkend. course this turned into a mega come down(think the weed didnt help), then went crazy all summer when she was back (there was no way i was getting her back). No chemical or girl love, hard to handle.
So just a message to anyone whos currently in the zone with their mash ups, if you've got a girl/bloke or friends (+parents!) who dont pill, dont **** it up coz you'll need them more than you need drugs.

GOOD TOPIC!!!! Well, my ex-husband isn't really a raver and in the past year we moved to Phoenix and I like to party, but he's not a big raver. SURE! He goes every once in a while, but he's a metalhead and thinks our views on life or just parties are ********! So, yeah, it's kept me from a couple of parties, but I don't let him dictate my life. so, now if he doesn't want to go I let him make that choice and have no regrets going out and dancin all night! Once in a while when they have small desert parties or park get togethers I take my kidz, so it's a family event! It's a great time and a way to all have fun!!!

I wasnt a raver (because I heard too much hard trance at clubs), then my boyfriend took me to a hardcore rave, and I was converted!
So sometimes it goes
Boy meets girl
Girl isnt raver
Boy takes girl to rave
Girl falls in love with hardcore and the whole rave scene
And they all rave happily ever after
