There's a rave tonight (11/11/04) and I got some mushrooms last night. I mean theres gonna be strobe lights and different colors and shiet which might intense the trip. Does anybody think going to a rave while tripping out on shrooms is a good idea ?

you should be ok as long as your not alone
and just remember that if it gets too intense go to the chill room or something

Yea we'll thats the problem. I'm most likely going by myself because my friends have no money, so yea I'm not gonna know anybody.
When im usually tripping tho, i like to be alone at times, and think about different things. So i dunno what i wanna do yet.
Plus, should I worry about seizures or anything like that because of the intense colors that'll be around ?

the drugs dont increase the chance of having a seizure if your epileptic and have seen strobes without convulsing you should be fine
what i would do is eat 2 grams at first and see how you feel and if you need more than have another gram but dont overdo it

i used to love going to raves and eating shroom.. its great if u can handle it..
but then i started not being able to handle it.. i'd get really angry and pissed off at annoying people.. funnie thing is.. i hated people on E..
shrooms are great, definitly my drug of choice for many years...
you'll probably have a great time.. but may i suggest.. if your going to shroom.. make sure u have a few close friends w/ u.. not too many.. and try to put yourself outside in a nice nature place.. like the woods.. even an outdoor event...
otherwise, have a great time, happy shrooming...

oh yea, and as for the seizures... thats ********- your not going to have seizures... i've shroomed so many times in my life, its ridiculous...
stop watching 20/20 and shows that fill your head w/ that type of ********..

Hold sh*t - I couldn't do that! I can't even leave the house when I'm on mushies, let alone go to a rave - and I can't be around anyone sober either, I get that paranoid "he's looking at he cause I'm acting weird" feeling!

Depends on the shrooms you do and the amounts obviously. Me and my mate eat a good whack of the mexican mushrooms before raindance and had a crackin time not one feeling of paranoia. Where i grew up though shrooms used to grow wild so as young uns the teenagers from my town would go pickin shitloads and make brews with hundreds then share them around. Those sort of states are not for a rave as tommysoundwave says you cant leave the room or set certain of people you're with, totally takin over your mind material. Wouldnt recommend it unless you'd done shrooms before but if you no what you can handle can be a laff, although dont think i'll be doin it again in near future.

Personally I would never do schrooms at a rave. But theres no "yes you should", or "no definatly not". They are different for everyone. So as long as you are most definatly sure you can handel it go for it and enjoy. You know your body more than any one else and what you can handel. (scary situation for me) Just be safe!
