Drum & Bass is excellent.

Alot of variation, which is only a good thing imo.

Agree with dave when you go to a dnb night you'll hear so many diff types of stuff and people appreciate it all. Used to hate it til i moved down south but after experiencing it have a lotta time for it now. Musics my passion in life wouldnt say i like it as much as hardcore at all, but is good in its own way. Breakbeat hardcore though has been interesting me more all the time, always liked the old classics but havin not had much exposure to newer stuff, what i've heard is more interesting than straight 4/4 beats. Varietys what our scene needs and have to say i'm more impressed all the time and looks like it'll continue.

Venga familia!!!

Some consider me a Drum n bass DJ around the Michigan area of the US.
I preferebly like to spin dnb just for the fun of its organic sounds and breaks.
I like upbeat fast 170bpm kind of music(like hardcore), always gets a croud goin'.
Ravin' to it is just as the thrill of spinnin it.
A very mysterious genre...Love it.

it's good,in moderation. couldnt do with more than 1 or 2 hours of it.

never seen the atmosphere change so much at the sanctuary. sedders played a set in there then it was a drum n bass dj on next,it went from whistles, horns, glow sticks etc etc to just a load of people standing about nodding their heads to the music. it just doesnt have the same energy in it

I love DNB, and ragga... its mostly what i spin...
but i originally got into DNB by listening to the DNB breakdown in happy hardcore tracks.. I fell in love w/ the intellegence in the sound of DNB music.. the complex beats and sick production.. not to mention, the DJs who can tear it up... its a really hard type of music to spin, but once u catch on.. its like your hooked..
DNB also has so many different sounds.. like any mood im in, theres a certian producer or track i can play to complement however i'm feeling...
going to DNB parties is always fun, because its not exactly your typical 'rave' crowd.. and many of the junglists are such good dancers..
although i get sick of some of the attitudes of junglists, they can be so critical and centered sometimes....
nonetheless.. i love DNB...

Dnb is alright but the scene has gone to crap since all the garage listeners moved into the dnb scene and turned every party into a rude boy fest.

Totally agree with you there bulby_g. I used to be a all out drum & bass DJ and when I did events god it was like rude boi massive and i got a bit fed up with it. The drum & bass scene at the moment is not so good, with the same stuff being produced, thats why I moved over more to djing hardcore
