Lost my favorite ever tape today when some chav decided to help himself to my car stereo...
Vibes & Livelee Helter Skelter 1995 or 94 i think
Had that song on that goes.. everybody needs a little time away, far away, from eachother..
also had that lion king tune "can u feel the love" but with different words.. something like"and if you see the stars 2nite and tell me what they say... !@$$@$$!! cant remember" proper hair standin on end rushin off yer tits type of thing that used to listen to when 17!... anyway

Brings back fond memories of some dicks getting a kicking from the bouncers for stealing stereo's from peoples cars in the sanctuary car park, sucks about your stereo though (and the tape!)

I think I've got the same tape, the one i've got has the origional 'Party Time ' and 'Equazion Part 5' by Qtex on it (plus the tunes you mentioned), think rushin on pink champaigne is on there too, it's also got MC Steppa on it towards the end but Livelee most of the way through. I know file sharing is a big no no here but I could get it on the net for you, I think this deserves an exception. Wicked tape (Thieving F***'s)

very gutted mate.id be sad to lose any vibes and lvielee tape as i lost the vibes tape from helter skelter strings of life.probs the best vibes and livelee set ive ever had.has anyone got that set btw that could do me a copy?im also after a vibes set from dreamscape 25 if anyone has it.id return the favour in some way :) the tunes you were refering to are 'hold me now' and 'stars' absolute quailty tunes

Ihave two line outs on my mixer, so I plug the line out from the tape deck into a channel on my mixer (so I can adjust the volume, eq's ect) and I made a long lead to go from line out on the mixer to line in on you PC sound card (usually built into the motherboard on modern PC's) You need phono plugs on the mixer end and a stereo jack plug on the PC end. Also some software to record the music from the line in, sort your levels out then hit record. I use Silent Bob to record with, then Audacity to trim the ends off and convert to MP3, both free software you can download
