Purchased a copy of Bonkers 4 today, go me i thought.
Decided to have a listen to Hixxy's mix whilst i was in the bath, expecting to be impressed as usual....how wrong i was.
If you close your eye's it sounds like it could have been mixed by...dare i say it...Vibes 
Don't get me wrong i like Hixxy but what i wanna know is what happened to him between Bonkers 3 & Bonkers 4???

Well i missed bonkers four so i don't know but bonkers 3 is a classic

Mortis is spot on, I didn't like hixxy mix on B4 either it was so disapointed after his legendery bonkers 3 set. I still think B3 is unbeatable even with the new ones coming out.

I gotta disagree there, I really like his mix on 4. It's quite upbeat like 3 but not as cheezy IMO. I'd hav that mix b4 10,11,12 or 13.
In fact, it's ranked 4th out of all the bonkers IMO.

Yeah i tot agree on that one bud, HIXXY went through a ruff stage , Dougals mix was king kong tho. anyway what be rong with the DJ the Vibes? you ever been to a Vibes and LIVE LEE show? they is mental. bonkers 13 is a bit poo tho!

Hixxy's mix on B4 is MUCH better, then hes mix on B3.

C'mon, Hixxy Bonkers4 mix is top!!!! "The lights"
I love the first 5 or so tunes, the real hard bass-lines. I must admit the scratchin is terrible tho!
and as for the 7th track - what is it called again - "you see I'm lookin to the future, I'm lookin from the past...I'm lookin for a reason, and I need one fast...you see life's too short..."......ok ok, I'll stop. That song is toooo good!
Aaarrrgghhhh, you guys have done it again! - you've reminded me how much I like an old mix - now I'm going to have to go home and get it on the stereo!

Its not the track selection i dont like its, the mixing. For example his mix from U & Me into Don't Go Away, Power of Love into Distant Skies to name a few.

i have only been into hardcore since around bonkers 9. havent heard much of the earlier ones. i loved hixxys mix on bonkers 11. heavens above into 24/7 is quality!!!
but i reckon THA KING of bonkers has to be the one and only.....sharkey

yeah, you're right - the mixing is terrible!!! I had a listen to it last night.
Doesn't ruin the CD for me tho - mixing on any comp is my favourite part, even if it is bad!
