thanks!
it wasn't quite the one i was looking for, but it sure as hell does have the same lead-melody...
in my head the synth sounds rougher and takes up more space than the one in "breathe", but i guess it's all in my head and that the song i'm thinking about never actually existed :/

it was on hardcore til i die 1 (cd1), but i saw it on hardcore til i die 2 (cd1 unmixed)

hehe, why would this have been the real song? it's unprocessed and all, plus if it was the REAL song, the ending wouldn't have been the same.
this was a clean ending and the bitrate was ~192 VBR
you'd never have this quality from a radio-station or imorecords or anywhere, so yeah, this was made on my computer in about 2 sec :)
that's why i didn't have any longer samples either
