For some reason my mixing skills have decided to up and off.
Im not a bad dj as it goes, no superstar but i can match a beat or two, but recently my mixing has been awfull, tunes i can normally mix with my eyes closed i cant even match the beat, let alone get it to sound good.
Im hoping its just a bad patch im goin through, everyone has them right? I mean look at Hixxy (Bonkers 3 compared to Bonkers 4).
Fingers crossed my "mad skillz" will soon return

Happened to me, i found i was trying to hard.
Maybe just ease up, relax abit and try later in the week.

Yeah, I went through a phase like that. But I got out of it, it was mainly because I WAS trying too hard, I was getting nervouse, and being over ambitious. Anyway, it didn't last long.

Yeah, it happens to all of us. I totally agree, that this happens when you try to hard. Lik Agony Uncle "Dave" has said, just relax, chill while mixing, muck around with it

Ive put it down to maybe two things..
1) Im tired, bin workin 50 hrs a week at the mo
2) Most of my mix's in the past have been for girl friends and generally women around me, but at the mo there's no women in my life (its not a cry for help!!), so i think maybe in lacking insperation.
So i recon i got two options..
1) Quit work

I've bn tryin for 2yrs now....and still no good at it  But I have found out that if I take a little break (like a week or so) I can match better than what I did. It's strange. I can get the record to come in where I want it to, but I can never seem to get the beats together for the constant thing...

Dont Worry... It all works out in the end.
My skills for instance when alone are pretty spot on.
with a couple of close friends there not to bad..
with people i dont know haha i can mix
