Just wondering who people think the most influential woman in the hardcore scene?
Im thinkin its out of :
Jo James (for the vocals of Bang! obv)
Donna Grassie (For the amount of years & vocals she's put into the scene)
Lisa Abbott (the nice vocal sounds plus some good tunes)
Jenna ( for her work with Dougal, Force & Styles ect)

yer, but i think that there havent really been any MAJOR female players in the hardcore scene, i personally think that theyre all gr8 in their own rite, and all the tunes they have sung on/co-produced have been decent, esp force & styles's efforts. i think wot would be gr8 is if sum1 like jenna or lisa abbott struck out on their own and started producing their own material like this jess has done, i reckon we'd come up wit sum real quality vocal tunes

Yeah Lady Dana has been in Hardcore and Hardstyle since the early 90's, great DJ
Gilliant Tennant has done a lot as well

In the past it would almost certainly have been a vocalist, and likely one of those mentioned ( I'd go w/ Donna Grassie personally, but Jenna is riiiight up there ).
However, atm I'm gonna say Cris. E Manic.
Why? Coz Raw Elements is, IMO/ATM, the most established and respected "new" label, and Cris. E has ( shall we say ;) ) an extroverted make up that will no doubt lead to having a major impact on the development of the scene in the near future.
I'm not just saying that coz I'm slightly scared of her, either! heh!
I only heard the majority of the Raw Elements material fairly recently, when I got it on CD, but have been immediately impressed by the unique fusion of old and new and the consistancy demonstrated.

not so sure that's strictly true, Donna Grassie was doing stuff like "Gotta Believe" and "Sunshine" back before Jenna was doing hardcore.
Having said that, there is little doubt that Jenna has been more prolific of late, altho I know Donna is doing a fair amount of new material *whistles innocently*

Jenna's voice is so beautiful and soothing. The lyrics she writes like those on Fires in the Sky and Paradise are amazing too
