I always though uk had the best raves but just clicked on the Next Generation web site link (good site btw) and found some pics some seriously mental looking aussie raves, and i mean HUGE! So the question is- who does have the best raves?

Sydney has godspeed which bought in around 8,000 people last week from what I have heard
and Adelaide has Enchanted forest 7 this weekend, which brings in like 12,000 from what I last heard

But yes UK has better raves when it comes to upfront hardcore

q-dance seems to be more hard house and hard trance
even there pictures of "Hardcore Resurrection" on the 2003, seem to show pics of clubber looking ppl then ravers/gabbers
there are no Hardcore pics on the 2004 page too

i hav never been to the UK but the aussie rave imo could match UK ones. BUT we dont have the big ones that offen maybe one every couple of months (and they not 100% hardcore events either but the is always a hardcore arena), where as in the UK by the looks of the event list you get a big one every month.
thats what the sydney scene looks like

Some of the big ones here have about 10 different rooms of music which pisses me off coz you have to pay for them all and u only wanna go to the hardcore...
But then again we do have a lot of raves to chose from, advantage of living in such a dense population, whereas in most of australia youve only got kangaroos to jump around with
