If everyone could keep to a tiny graphic then that would be okay but no one can do that and it ends up with massive meaningless graphics that are sometimes megabytes in size, slowing the site down and making everything hard to read.... So no sorry we don't allow graphical signatures....
But I think I might make an exception for the whatpulse graphic because it kind of is for the site... still thinking about it.

an idea for you silver...
if you build a program fro it then it might work...
like the graphics for the name is limited to a certain size file and pic, if you did it for the signature so at most could only be yey long and wide then it might work... that way no one could get images on that are to big either in size or space.

I agree about Big signatures being big and annoying but theres nothing wrong with smaller ones imo. You're saying about it making everything slow? Well you could make a setting that allows you view Signatures or not?(Like on Invision boards)

there's an option to make the WP image very small, just like a regular image
it's slows down because most user might be using the forsaken Internet Explorer, who lacks the respect for proper PNG viewing

i have 1Mb connection and i still dont wanna see graphic signatures. They are waste of space. If graphic signatures are allowed, they should be invisible as default, so that new people who arent logged in, wouldnt think this as some ****ing stupid site. And if someone really wants to use their time looking the same pictures over and over again, then they would have that option, just my 2 cents.

We have utils that find graphical signatures and remove them. To build something that checked both size of the graphic and filesize would take alot of work... something that I don't have time for... We really need a programming moderator that can help me program the site...
