What is new makina?
What would you call Flying free or Sweet revenge?
Anyway... The comps you mentioned contain a lot of gabba, don't they? I would prefer a comp containing the singles of Pont Aeri. :)

flying free is a old tune (1999) ..if im not wrong ! get the latest %makina cds ..they have almost only 'new style' makina

New makina is all of the songs that are make for the money. they are simple and with bad sounds, tunes for the circus haha This kind of " new makina" (i dont like to called it makina) is from 2001 since this days. A lot of this new song s are horribles remixes of pop music :S Also the melodies are very simples too, and try to be similar at hardstyle :S :S
For me Flying Free is not makina, is Hard dance. And I think the same about Sweet Revenge. For me, makina is the melodies and the "bases" (Xavi Metralla - Vibrations for example), the lasts principaly...
The Comps that I mencioned have a lot of GOOD MAKINA, the real makina, and some gabba and hardtrance. If you want the singles of Pont Aeri, the easy way to obtain they is buying the vinyls (very difficult to find they). Other way is buyind compilations that contain they.
I know only that:
Pont Aeri vol.4 appear in Pont Aeri - The Trilogy
Pont Aeri vol.5 appear in Pont Aeri For The Eternity
Pont Aeri vol.7 appear in the Megarave live at Pont Aeri

... New makina sucks? Factoria Sonora Produciones is the best f*cking label in the hardcore scene (thats right, UK hardcore as well) currently, there isn't a single Maxi that I dont have or dont plan to buy. EVERY Maxi on that label is f*cking class, I love Ruboy's work!
I'm only expecting one label to top it, which is Greyscale Records, but only because their release schedule looks good.
Also, BitMusic and XQue are good labels. Their new stuff doesn't keep up with Ruboys tho.

I like new makina when mixed on 3 decks but i think it's boring to mix on two, remember style/ italian is wkd as a warm up set.

yea its undeniable that makina is dieing...but stuff from 2001-2004 is still new makina and ***** awsome....fair play most present stuff is gash but.....think uk should produce makina...seems as though most uk tunes are happy sounding same as each other...least makina trys new stuff even if it didnt work out for best.
old stuff is also quality...but aslong as theres a good selection of vocal tracks everyu now and again.

For me makina dies on 2000 but in this five years has been published some tunes that are really good. The problems is that are little bit songs, not suficient to maintain the style in life...
