ok i dont know about where everyone else is, but i know some parties here in st louis have gotten kind of aggressive recently. the last party i went to barely had anyone dancing for a few hours, they were standing in everyone's way and looking around like they lost their keys. i saw a few people bump into each other, and instead of blowing it off and saying sorry, they all exchanged dirty looks and wandered off
is it just me or did the whole "peace" thing slowly slip down the drain?? i mean i'm not expecting everyone to be jumping the whole time but jeez.. if you dont like where you're at, leave :( dont bring the whole house down!

i don't believe in the whole PLUR (ugh) thing but people should respect each other and just come out to have a good time. if you didn't come to dance and/or listen to tunage go the f*ck home. you're not needed but I'm sure the promoter appreciated your $30 =P

PLUR is a by-product of drugs.
Sure its a nice thing, but more often than not, the less drugs at an event, the less plur. And the converse is true, the more drugs at a party, the more plur.

Agreed. A lot of people can't seem to be nice and respectful without taking drugs. Which is a very sad thing.. why must people ruin themselves?

although the friends i have dont take drugs, and they're all a friendly bunch o people :)

Mibbe whats happenin in u.s is jus wat happened over here years ago. Dont worry bout it too much you still meet lots of really sound people at raves but they defo attract dicks aswell.

well, rules are getting tougher in some areas due to drug busts an hour into the event and the whole thing shutting down (oops, there goes my money!). of course not everyone complies, but Dance Safe helps scope around and mingle with people to see who's doing what, if any
and i'm not so much worried about actual "PLUR" being put into effect, but i AM worried about people being rude and ignorant at an event people went to enjoy themselves at. it bothers me to hear "this place is crowded" when.. DUH, it always is :)

at a rave once i was on a real downer, loadsa of causes for this, one being the bad organisation, and the HUGE queues. and when your mates decide they would go on this one straight you dont have the same vibe, i cant explain it. any way i wasnt enjoying my time and this pilled up maniac fell into me and it really hurt he wouldnt stop apolagising which is very aggrovating. then he decided to start dirty dancing and "grinding" with me and my mate. so of course i would tell him to **** of and give him "a dirty look"
i may have not enjoyed myself but i wasnt guna go home, i paid good money for that i wanted to get the most out of it, well as much as i could.
plurs not real. raves are what you make them.

I've always found that the small back-alley kinda events have the best atmosphere....Everyone is truely there for the same reason. 
The bigger the crowd...the more change of pricks bein part of it... 
I think they could be more strict about who they let in at big events....but thats just my opinion and that doesn't matter.

PLUR doesn't exist...Unless your on drugs.. So in my case... PLUR doesn't exist...
Parties were still pretty good in St. Louis up until the end of 2001... after that "IFU - (I-****ed-U)/Bad Guys/Church of Bass"... it's all the same group of people anyway.. and *cough* SNOOPY... put low talent events together for a way too expensive admission fee...and respect for what little scene we had declined...
I've almost lost complete faith in the ghetto party scene...

Exactly mate i wouldnt let it stop me goin out though, f**k that you still get a quality night and loadsa crackin people at raves. i do hate the way a lotta really sound people i no won't go to hardcore raves anymore because they dont enjoy it cos feel they threatened though it's not a good thing.

PLUR died ages ago at Raves or in general. Ppl tend to just lose the point of going to a Rave, and starting arguments and giving ppl dirty looks was is not a part of it. Then again you still find those sober happy ppl. :) Don't worry about others do whatever makes you happy.
