Why would I want to downgrade my car to something slower?

its groundcontrol coilovers

just giving you a bit of advice about your sound system icex, a 15" cerwin vega stroker sub is an amazing speaker designed to give huge SPL readings BUT its not a good sub for fast paced music as the long throw of the sub means the based produced with this speaker is really low, deep bass. it will give great bass to really low old skool/drum'n'bass/hip-hop bass lines but for fast paced hardcore music the speaker wont be able to keep with the music because of its size and your sound system will sound like an over-bassy muddle of noise. ive heard many many sound systems in cars over the years and for any dance music system i would advise no more than 10inch subs for sound quality. if your aim is to turn heads from 500yards with the bass then go for the 15, but if sound quality is your aim go for a good set of front door components and smaller sized sub(s) to get really tight punch bass with the highest quality set of mid and high range component speakers you can afford and get the boot and doorcards of your car soundproofed and use thick mdf and/or fiberglass to get the best out of your speakers. as for companies i would recommend for speakers i would have to say kicker, alpine or vibe for overall volume, sound quality and value for money out of all the companies demo cars i have heard.the cerwin vega sub you mentioned is an amazing speaker... just not suited for hardcore music, also spend as much as you can on the front door components and amplify them as this is where most of your music comes from and is the most important part of your system, a good quality headunit is also VERY important. and the headunit you mentioned(clarion tv/mp3/dvd/cdr player) sounds very nice! what model you thinking of getting?

ps - 19" racing harts and 4" drop on ground control coilovers

That is a Chav car, for chav muppets and is fairness not really that fast compared to proper cars

If you liked this post why not get up and do a dance in honour of it.

No this is a rally enthusiasts car for a real car lover. at the time the first sierra cosworth was released there was very little around that could offer that performance in speed and handling for that small ammount of money makes it a classic. and the fact that they can be sold for huge ammounts of money these days backs up that fact. a mate of mine owns a genuine sierra RS500 in mint condition and its worth an awful lot£££.

as for a shitty ford 1.8 sierra with standard kit and cosworth vents and alloys... now that is a chavs car for chav muppets
