If you are going to Osaka, check out L.P.U. records and Cisco Osaka. If you're going to Tokyo, check out guhroovy and Cisco Tokyo.

Sydney: One stop DJ - DJ Weaver works there...
Tokyo: Cisco does not have hardcore, check out Guhroovy - Chucky works there.
Osaka: Again Cisco does not have hardcore, check out LPU records - DJ horn works there.

618 records (CIB, off rundle mall, gawler st.): Upfront Hardcore, Freeform....getting new dutch in around mid Jan.
Mid-town records aus (10mins out of the city, brickworks, run by mr vagas): 2nd hand early evo's and old mokum type cd's.
When your in Sydney, u should try and pick up the 2 local releases from tha terrorist, on tera australis records. They sold out in Adelaide.

Japan's version of techno is different to the UK's version of techno.
It's like funky house.

Yeah some of it is, but I wouldn't compare Takkyu Ishino and Ken Ishii's trax to funky house.
