Whats the score with hixxys btrax label...
i heard the bonkers 7 cd... (hixxy mix obivously) and since then i tryed to find all tunes...
untill i stumbled across Btrax on imo..
i found that it has EVERY single tune (cept lost in love and 1999) thats on that cd...
(oh and X=Y is out of stock)
but on the vinyls the artist for ALL of them is Hixxy....
a) wasnt it a joint Hixxy + Ufo Project
b) why or how or who or (im really confused now) are there different artists on the bonkers 7 track list
are they hixxys aliases
or did those people really make the tunes.. and for some reason hixxy is the artist on the vinyls...
some light please?

umm
i know hixxy made some of thos tracks... like Warehouse/ Return of Mr. X ... Seen The Future, etc...
i have a bunch of the b-trax and most of them don't list the artist on them. i wouldnt be surprised if UFO worked on some of them...
strange label... i dunno.

I got alot of the choons you are talking about. In the Hixxy interview he talks about making choons with UFO b4 Raverbaby. UFO does allot of engineering, so maybe he just did this for hixxy with some of them tracks.

bonkers is known to be wrong for names of tunes and stuff like that,especially with what label's the tracks are on.
noticed how they all say on hixxy's mix that every track is on legendary??
best tune on that has to be baby tainted though,is that there?

really? Hixxy is the one doing the cover ups? i just heard Cover Up 04 ... "happy" remix of Push - Universal Nation, one of the trance tracks that EVERYONE knows :)
nice but i think it might be a bit slow :/

Hixxy's Btrax label was top, top quality.
For me, the tune "Under Current" is just unbelievable. I also have a copy of a Helter Skelter tape pack from around the time Btrax material was being produced (Deca Dance - Oct 1999). There are a couple of Btrax tunes on the Hixxy mix that are not on Bonkers 7. For example, there is a cover version of Carte Blanche and another epic trance tune that kicks off the mix.

1999 wasnt on btrax was it, i thought that was a cover up
they are good tho
timescape makes me shiver
under current is excelent
baby taineted owns but is a bitch to mix (if uve got it ull iknow what i mean)

i find just about all of the b-trax releases that i have are a bitch to mix... melodies coming in early, strange off-beat/delayed kickdrums.... very strange
my personal favorite is seen the future or warehouse tho

i dont' care for any of them, they all sound like goa crap to me. just dissapoints me to see hixxy making stuff like this, i know his production skills can allot for so much more than trance ripoffs...

yeah i do think trance rips start to take the piss
the delerium rip is astonishingly bad, the productions good, i just stood there and thought "ahh.. another one" then bounced my tits orf cos the atmosphere owned :)
but not all of hixxys plinky stuff is ripped off, in fact only two tunes on that bonkers 7 cd are ripped, 1999 and lost in love

1999 is on Cover Up but you will never find it. I have been looking for a copy for about 6 months now.
Carte Blanche is on Cover Up #5 it is the flip to the Saltwater remix. Very sweet track. I love all the Cover Ups but i am also a big fan of cheesy trance
