Become a graphic designer I was told, good money, you can be creative and your good at it, well ok thats all true, but I ****ing hate my job, today has been hell, customers are wankers, printers are wankers, and managing directers are ****in wankers!!

My friedn tried to convince me to go to college with him to study graphic design but I refused. 8 Years later he is £25,000 in debt and works in a call centre because no-one will employ him as a graphic designer as he has no experience. Whilst I have no debts and earn more then he does. I can imagine it being shite.

Right now if you are really looking for somthing to get into you need to think about the future, like broadcasting is going to be big with all the new technology and stuff. I do graphic design right now on a part time basis, I do mostly powerpoint presentation for churches and businesses and create logos and such for them. It's easy becasue no one where I work knows what they are doing so I look like a genious to them :) Im not doing it for a living tho, djing/producing and journalism/broadcasting is going to be my main focus.

Job's are never really enjoyable i think, and aren't meant to be. Careers are though :)

i heard graphic design is really bad as its so popular there are no jobs out there!
i hate my saturday job, which is why i am leaving to get a better paid job that i will enjoy in the new year.

I love my job....i'm "unemployed" at the min....goin for promotion in a few weeks.... 
My last job was pretty good too...as well as the job before that.....hey, I think I've enjoyed all my jobs so far!!

you think being a grapic designer is bad? try being a pizza cutter (as what was my former job) i worked at little caesers pizza in castro valley for about a year, i was their best employee at one point and i got no raise and all i made was minimum wadge ($6.75/hr) and the jod got to the point where i wanted to hurl hot pizzas out of the oven and onto customers, and i found joy in when costomers got mad at us for being "slow" and plus, my boss was the hugest prick in the world, i finally left that job and now unemployed
