I say, that all sounds wonderful. However, I can tell that it is not economically feasable to release vinyl these days (just look at all the labels and distributors that have gone bankrupt). I think that the dance music scene should mass produce individual releases on cd because it costs less to produce and producers can still market their names to the public.

TBH i would much rather buy CD's. When i buy records, first thing i do is go through all CD's in stores if theres something i want, after that if i have money left i buy vinyl. Basicly if thers an "ok" track on CD and a "good" track on vinyl, i buy the "ok" track on CD. Also on vinyl, the postage is much higher then on CD's, and CD's are 10 times more versatile.

no one said music was cheap, and if people are in it for the money they should leave or go spin trance or house =P

Okay, back to Cd's vs. Vinyl:

Yes, music is expensive to produce, but any smart record label owner should know that he/she can save money by putting everything on cd. With the money he/she saves, he could spend the extra money on advertising on tv, the internet, magazines, etc.. This will inevitably increase sales, maybe increase market share, and help spread the popularity of hardcore music.

Don't go back to the "hardcore popularity" thing again.. >_<

I think vinyls are kickass... it's something that makes hardcore unique

You know, like.. the look my parents got when I asked them for a record player for Christmas
"I got you an iPod!!"
"Then I'll stand in line and return it!!" :DD

I'm sure that if you click your heels three times and say "there's no one like cloudskipper" three times also, he will appear and take you away to hardcore oz. All you have to do is ask him what he's up to, i'm sure he will tell you.
