Well, a while ago I sold all of my records to Dj JimniCrickit, and thought back then that I didn't want to do the hhc thing. Well since then, i have snapped to and well to make a long story short, i'm looking for new records. anyway, does anyone on here know where i could find some old super cheesy bouncy techno records??? I know they don't make them anymore, but if anyone has some and would like to part ways, I would like to talk.
Also, hey Annika, if you read this, I hope you are enjoying the records, I wouldn't have wanted them to go to a bad home, so I know they were safe with you!

We sell some old stuff... check the re-stock section in Shop.HappyHardcore.com if your looking for older stuff... as for new stuff that sounds "classic" Quosh records has a little bit of a classic sound, ravin beats japan, rave n beats are also some labels to check out.

What, specifically, do you mean by "bouncy"?
It's all hardcore. It's not all good hardcore, but it's all rave.

sounds like hard techno, except it's around 170 bpm and has a lil bit of a happier side to it...I classified it more in the hardcore techno category, usually filled with piano chords and primarily came from scotland
some people like to classify it in with happy gabber, I'd say yes if you were talking about early releases from say dwarf & babyboom

check out brisk sets from the club kinetic days back in 93 or 94. super frenetic beats, kinda like gabba but just really insane sounds. like every other measure it just keeps getting nuttier. maybe just the way he mixed it, but if that is the way he mixed it, then he would have been mixing in a new record every ten seconds or so.

that's why I prefer older stuff, so many more places to mix in records than your typical happy hardcore...more like every 2 minutes =P I do however have a cd from '93 that the tracks play for like 45 seconds before being mixed into the next one

i prefer short mixing, but like you said, the spots are kinda limited now. the tracks are more song structured than in the past.
