There's numerous people already working on the re-emergence of the old skool sound so yes, it'll work.

Yep it was a decent sound more variation in tracks then than there are now. I like me old skool, and I like me breaks!

if it was like the stuff on warehouse wax then hell yes I'd support it. this genre was based on breakbeat, so bring it back and loose the trance =P

I would love it. IMO there is no better style of music than Old Skool. To be honest alot of you weren't raving back in 92 -96 so wouldn't have experienced a proper old skool rave so will automatically say no. I know a large amount of people who do not go to raves anymore because not liking the latest styles of hardcore, but would if it was still Old Skool. I say yes it will be big if it came back but it will not be popular with the 'Nu-skool' crowd which fills the majority of the users on this site. Ask this question on an old skool website and you will see the difference.

I think that if new tracks were made to sound like old-skool tracks, the old-skool crowd wouldn't like them cause they weren't genuine old tracks and the nu-skool crowd wouldn't like them cause they're trying to sound old-skool!
Is that what you mean? New artists/producers (or old ones!) making new tracks but with an old-skool flavour.

If it was to be reborn I for one would defo support it, just as long as it sounded fresh and provided something different to what was eleased all those years ago( if that makes any sense ).
