have you ever thought you saw something when you were really young, and you wanted to believe what you saw was real, and you told yourself and your friends that what you thought you saw was true... and you did this for so many years you now actually believe it?
well i have and so i have grown to accept that thought

two shorties for you
when i was young..10 ish
we had a 3 floor'd house the top floor was a converted attic which was what myself and my little brother slept in, there were some evenings when the bed would shake underneath me - fairly violently, i put it down to imagination.
about half a year later corentyn, my little brother came downstairs and complained to mum and dad that his bed was shaking.
that freeked me out a wee bit.
Our old house was a fairly old house, built back in the early 1800's, and was a police house for most of its life until it was converted for a family to live in during the 70's.
i have a few other little tid bits like that, but the other big one happened back in 2003.
i was on my way to college (late as usual) on the bus with my friend tom. time was about 9:30am (half an hour late) and i had this burning pain that shot across my chest, it was REALLY painful and i lurched back in my seat letting out an "ouch!" - tom looked at me and jokingly said "hah, must be your heart"
about 2:30pm i was taken from my college class and told that my dad had died of a heart attack earlyer on in the morning - somewhere between 9:15 and 10am.
so yeah - ghosts, i dunno, but somthing..i think so :)
what amuses me, is that my friend (tom) is a serious realist/atheist whatever, doesnt belive a word of religon, thinks that people who belive in ghosts and that sort of thing are crazy - but he was right there when it happened, for weeks i was like "well come on the tom are you gonna admit that was slightly too wierd or what?" lol

well I kind had sometin similar, but i realized it was only my mind...its when u are half awake and half asleep, left or right side of the brain asleep. And everthin seems so real then, but still there are some stuff that i couldnt have found an explanation for...like the chest thing, that is weird, i know about those things, but still its something we dont understand and there must be an explanation to it. But its always nice to believe there is something out there, and i do believe there is, its just we mix some stuff up, its not all ghost and spirits, some are logically explained.

I guess I have say I believe. When my mom was growing up, she lived in a haunted house, and has told us alot of stories. Well, not only her, but her whole family. Kind of scary only if you experience it yourself I guess.

Tri....Thats a crazy story. Im sorry to hear about your loss.
Its hard for me to believe paranormal stuff like that exist, cuz, I havent seeing anything yet to prove otherwise. Id LIKE to think people are watching over us or tormenting us. (depends on the story).

I'm in between. Not sure if ghosts are really what we think they are. I don't believe apparitions have any control over what they are doing and they are like a part of history that 'replays' because of time and dimensions. No one reallys knows do they, the point is that they could be anything and we will never find out the truth.
